The Role
Reporting into the Chief Operating Officer, you will lead a team of Purchasing, Planning and Logistics professionals overseeing the strategic and operational delivery of the companies end-to-end supply chain objectives. Key deliverables include-
To lead the Supply Chain team and oversee all activities relating to Price Negotiation, PO Management, Stock Availability, ERP data maintenance and communications with senior stakeholders
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency providing feedback and advice on internal change projects or activities which impact operational capability, productivity, efficiency and profitability.
Risk management of suppliers & vendors including contract negotiation, service level agreements and product storage
Awareness and monitoring of global economic events and new technologies that can impact or enhance supply chain performance
Inventory & Stock Management aligning with customer demand ensuring correct levels are available within budget
SKU Performance Analysis, identifying trends and patterns
Logistics reports - Ensuring shipping / delivery data is analysed for bottlenecks, ensure key partnerships are established and KPI reports are produced

You Supply Chain knowledge will include the following-
Purchasing Management & Cost Negotiation
Supplier Relationship Management
Forecasting including an understanding of how external factors can influence Buying patterns
Effective Data Analysis to identify performance within the supply chain, areas for improvement and trends
Strategic & scenario planning to understand how over/under selling will impact stock
Knowledge of import logistics companies
Financial Management and working within stock budgets
