Management Accountant - £250 per day - Reading - Hybrid- ongoing temporary role
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis
Support budgeting and forecasting processes
Perform detailed cost analysis and provide commentary to support business decisions
Monitor and analyse financial performance across departments
Reconcile key balance sheet accounts and maintain general ledger accuracy
Collaborate with senior stakeholders to deliver financial insights and reporting
Assist with internal and external audits
Continuously improve reporting processes and financial controls
Ad hoc financial analysis and project work as required
Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar Management Accountant role
Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
