Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support and maintenance for systems, networks, and applications within NPPV Level 3–cleared environments.
* Assist in system deployment, configuration, patching, and performance monitoring.
* Ensure compliance with security, data handling, and access control protocols in accordance with Home Office and police standards.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical incidents and implement service improvements.
* Maintain documentation and change logs in line with ITIL or equivalent frameworks.
* Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and integrations as per project needs.
* Participate in audits, compliance checks, and operational reviews.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Active NPPV Level 3 clearance – essential requirement.
* 3–6 years of relevant technical experience in one or more of the following domains:
o Infrastructure / Systems Administration (Windows/Linux)
o Network and Security Support
o Cloud Operations (Azure / AWS)
o Application Support / IT Operations
* Understanding of information security policies, access management, and secure data handling.
* Experience working in public sector, police, or government environments preferred.
* Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
* Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management) desirable.
Desirable Qualifications:
* CompTIA Security+, CCNA, ITIL Foundation, or equivalent certifications.
* Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Splunk).
* Exposure to automation tools (PowerShell, Ansible, etc.).
* Experience supporting systems with strict compliance and audit controls.
Soft Skills:
* High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure in secure and confidential environments.
