This opportunity is perfect for you Pegasus Couriers is looking for a Part-Time Finance Assistant to join a growing team at its head office in South Gyle, Edinburgh, EH12 9DQ. This new position was created due to the continued growth within our finance department. The successful applicant will be responsible for: Handling supplier invoices and balancing them with payments. Reviewing statements and managing direct debit collections for supplier accounts. Maintaining the accounts inbox. Manage subcontractor invoices and arrange BACS payments weekly. Compiling a weekly supplier payment schedule. Recording bank statements in the accounts. Supporting payroll procedures. Assisting with VAT returns. Compiling weekly fuel reports. Generating financial reports. Creating and recording journals. Generating customer invoices. Skills and experience required: Finance administration experience is desirable but not essential ; training will be provided Attention to detail Highly organised, can work to deadlines Proficiency MS Office packages, including Excel Team player with good communication skills This is a Part Time position requiring 15 hours per week - which can be broken down into 3 part-time days a week. A degree of flexibility can be accommodated. Hybrid working can be discussed at a later stage The starting Salary is £12.5 Per Hour.
