GSL Education are currently hiring a skilled and passionate Design and Technology Teacher to work in schools across Barnsley. As a Design and Technology (DT) Teacher, you will deliver hands-on lessons that encourage pupils to design, create, and evaluate products while developing technical knowledge and practical skills. Key Duties: Plan and deliver high-quality Design and Technology lessons in line with the curriculum. Teach a range of materials, processes, and product design techniques. Maintain a safe and well-organised workshop and classroom environment. Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback. Contribute to departmental planning and enrichment opportunities. Essential Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience working as a Design and Technology Teacher in a school setting. Strong practical teaching skills and classroom management. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
