Targeting major M&E contractors, we supply a wide range of clean energy solutions that deliver financial savings, carbon reductions, and energy independence. Working throughout the South Midlands (M4/M6/M5/M1), as an Area Sales Manager, you'll have an existing knowledge of construction M&E businesses; we will provide all necessary product and knowledge training. You bring your drive and sales professionalism.
BASIC SALARY: £45,000 - £50,000

TERRITORY: Based from home, covering South Midlands (M5/M6/M1/M4). You could live anywhere on the patch, e.g., Swindon, Oxford, Birmingham, Luton, Northampton, Milton Keynes, Coventry, Cambridge, Cheltenham, Worcester, Reading, Gloucester, etc.
JOB SPECIFICATION: As our Area Sales Manager, you will own the territory and drive business growth through new business development and maintaining client relationships. We value autonomy over KPIs, trusting you to manage your workload effectively. We offer full design, installation, maintenance, and finance of our energy systems.
Responsibilities include:
* Building on the current database of target clients within the M&E sector, focusing on new builds to get 'spec'd in'
* Collaborating with the Sales Director to develop a 'go to market strategy'
* Selling to various decision-makers (procurement teams, engineering, general managers)
* Managing a target of approximately £250,000 per month with order values from £100,000 to £250,000; lead times around 6 months
* Responding to inbound leads (~20 per month)
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Demonstrable knowledge and experience selling into the M&E contractor market. Experience selling technical products requiring fitting or installation (HVAC, fenestration, etc.) is advantageous. Managed a similar-sized territory from home, with a proven ability to generate new business and manage accounts.
