Graduate SEMH Teaching Assistant Bexley Are you a graduate with a strong interest in supporting children with social, emotional, and mental health needs? With a significant intake of pupils planned for September, this is a rare opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to a provision being built from the ground up within an Outstanding Two-School Trust. Graduate SEMH Teaching Assistant | The Role:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs within a primary setting
* Support pupils with emotional regulation, engagement, and behaviour strategies
* Work closely with teachers and the wider team to deliver structured interventions
* Help create a safe, consistent and inclusive learning environment
* Contribute to pupil progress tracking and pastoral support plans
Graduate SEMH Teaching Assistant | Who Were Looking For:
* A University Degree (2:1 or above preferred)
* A strong interest in SEMH, education, or child development
* Experience supporting children or young people (desirable but not essential)
* Calm, resilient and confident when supporting challenging behaviour
* Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach
* Ambition to develop within a specialist provision or pursue further training
