Maintenance Manager The Caledonian Hotel Collection is delighted to announce that we are currently recruiting a hands on and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team in Callander, one of Scotland’s most picturesque and historic locations. Following our recent acquisition of The Caledonian Thistle Hotel (formerly known as The Dreadnought) at the gateway to the Scottish Highlands, we are excitedly refurbishing the property ahead of its reopening this July. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an iconic hotel’s new chapter and help us create unforgettable experiences for our guests. This full time year-round role is perfect for someone who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly and safely, helping to maintain our beautiful hotel in the heart of Callander Key Job Responsibilities Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to ensure optimal functioning of equipment and facilities. Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and address them in a timely manner. Manage external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or projects. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs and inventory. Responding to maintenance requests from our guests, colleagues and management team. Check and repair fixtures and fittings that may include lighting and heating. Undertake any plumbing, carpentry, painting and mechanical work if required. About you Have excellent customer service skills. Demonstrate a can-do attitude. Demonstrate self-motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced work environment. Have excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach to colleagues and customers. Ability to work in a team. Ability to work a flexible shift pattern.
