Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Social Care Worker and Senior Social Care Worker, based in Louth.
Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a committed and experienced Senior Social Care Worker and SCW to support children with intellectual disabilities, acquired brain injuries, and autism in a respite setting.
This role focuses on delivering person-centred care that meets the practical, physical, and emotional needs of each individual, supporting their development, independence, and overall wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support
2. Coordinate and lead shifts, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
3. Supervise and support staff members on duty
4. Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
5. Report to the Person in Charge and deputise when required
Essential Qualifications & Experience
6. Level 7 qualification on the National Framework of Qualifications in Social Care, Social Work, Youth Work, Nursing, Teaching, Childcare (with disability modules), or a related discipline
7. Minimum 2 years’ experience working in residential, respite, or day services supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities
8. CORU registration, or currently in the process of obtaining registration
Desirable
9. Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role
