Overview
The Internal Communications Manager for Global Operations & Frontline Workforce develops and executes communications that support global operations, frontline (non-desk) employees, and transformation initiatives. This role helps ensure employees across manufacturing, supply chain, service, and field-based environments are informed, engaged, and connected to enterprise priorities.
Partnering closely with Global Operations leaders, HR, and transformation teams,you’ll translate complex updates and change into clear, actionable communications tailored to frontline audiences. You’ll play a critical role in supporting adoption, reinforcing safety and performance priorities, and enabling consistent communication across Waters’ global site network.

Responsibilities
* Lead internal communications for Global Operations, translating enterprise priorities into relevant, local, and actionable messages for manufacturing, supply chain, service, and field-based teams.
* Build and deliver frontline communication strategies that work across shifts, sites, geographies, and languages—balancing global consistency with local relevance.
* Support network optimization, footprint changes, and operational transformation initiatives with clear change communications, leader toolkits, and coordinated rollout plans.
* Equip site leaders, plant managers, and frontline supervisors with messaging, talking points, and communication tools that enable effective local cascades and two‑way feedback.
* Own and evolve operational communication channels (e.g., digital signage, mobile platforms, and site-based communications) to ensure timely, accessible delivery.
* Partner with HR and Operations to gather insights (listening, sentiment, feedback loops), identify gaps, and continuously refine communications to improve understanding and adoption.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
* 7+ years of internal communications experience, with demonstrated success supporting complex, multi‑stakeholder initiatives.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to simplify complex topics into clear, practical messages for frontline audiences.
* Strong change communication capability—planning, sequencing, and coordinating communications across overlapping initiatives.
* Proven ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders (Operations, HR, IT, integration teams, and senior leaders) around a shared narrative.
* Experience enabling leaders and frontline managers with toolkits, messaging, and guidance that drives consistent local communication.
* Strong project management and prioritization skills; execution discipline to deliver with speed, clarity, and quality.
* Ability to define success metrics and use data and feedback to improve communication effectiveness.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with global operations and/or supply chain functions.
* Experience supporting transformation programs and organizational change.
