Key Responsibilities of the Senior Fire Safety Engineer:
* Lead and support fire safety design and risk management for a wide range of building types
* Build strong relationships with new and existing clients
* Mentor and support junior engineers
* Conduct site surveys, inspections, and fire risk assessments
* Create clear, comprehensive reports, presentations, and fire strategy documentation
* Collaborate with design teams, contractors, and authorities to deliver effective solutions
* Contribute ideas and insight to help grow and develop the business
What Youll Bring:
* A degree or postgraduate qualification in Fire Engineering or a related field
* At least 5 years experience in fire safety engineering
* Chartered Engineer status or working towards it (IFE or IFSM member preferred)
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and fire engineering software (e.g. CFD modelling, thermal analysis)
* Strong working knowledge of UK fire safety legislation and international codes
* Excellent communication skills able to translate technical details for varied audiences
* A proactive mindset with a passion for innovation and high standards
* A valid UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK
* Willingness to travel in the UK and abroad when required
