Interim Accountant
Location: Telford (on site)
Salary: up to £50K dependant on experience/ day rate equivalent inside IR35
T2M Resourcing are recruiting an Interim Accountant initially for a 6-month period to start asap.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, as Interim Accountant, responsibilities will include.
* Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance identification and supporting commentary where required
* Bank reconciliations across all group companies
* Full ownership of the cashbook process (nominal postings, transfers, DDs, cash expenses)
* Setting up Balance sheet reconciliation templates for Accruals and Prepayments
* Assisting with VAT Return and familiarity with VAT Deferment and VAT Postponement HMRC rules
* Management and processing of company credit cards
* Assisting with processing supplier invoices during busy periods
* Sales ledger management for TMS and intercompany reconciliations
* Supporting the annual audit process
* Responding to general finance and credit card queries
* Supporting finance integration work following company acquisition
* Ad hoc requests involving system changes (Payroll, ERP for example)
To be successful in the role of Interim Accountant, you will demonstrate the following:
* An experienced Accountant - part qualified, and QBE will also be considered
* Working knowledge of Sage 200 is highly desirable
* Proficiency in Excel including VLookup, Pivot tables and SUMIF
* Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different functions
* Able to demonstrate flexibility by adapting work in line with changing priorities
* Available to start a new role quickly!
