We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager (RN) for a service located in Romsey, supporting adults with physical disabilities in a well-regarded residential setting. In this role, you will assist the Service Manager in the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring high standards of nursing and personal care. You will lead and inspire a team of nurses and care staff, ensuring a person-centred, proactive approach to care, and promoting independence for each resident. Key Responsibilities Support the Service Manager in managing the nursing home and deputise in their absence. Lead and supervise a team of nurses and care staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and care excellence. Ensure high standards of nursing, clinical, and personal support for individuals with physical disabilities. Promote the independence and choice of service users in line with their care plans. Ensure compliance with health and safety management, fulfilling statutory obligations, and ensuring excellent service delivery. Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the service to deliver positive outcomes for residents. Work closely with external professionals and partner agencies to ensure the highest level of care. Ideal Candidate Current NMC Registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) Proven experience in a clinical or managerial role, with a strong track record of managing a team of nurses and care staff. Experience of providing direct personal and social care, with knowledge of working with people who have physical and/or learning disabilities. A flexible approach to working hours and a positive attitude toward working in a team environment. A passion for promoting choice and independence for people with disabilities.
