Marsh Commercial, the leading insurance broker in the UK, is seeking a Trainee Insurance Client Manager to support our Private Clients team. This is an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in insurance with a company that values diversity and client satisfaction. This role will be based in Glasgow or Edinburgh.
This is a hybrid working role that has a requirement of at least four days per week in the office.
The role: Trainee Client Manager
We recruit for potential and not industry experience, we are seeking individuals who aspire to be leading contributors to our business.

We will count on you to:
1. Handle both new and existing customer enquiries on behalf of the Account Executives.
2. Manage administrative processes for new business, mid-term adjustments, and renewals.
3. Ensure prompt and efficient handling of client requests in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
4. Build relationships with insurers to secure the best terms and pricing for clients.
5. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all client interactions and policy details.
What you need to have:
6. Previous experience in a client/customer-facing role (e.g., retail, hospitality, food & beverage).
7. Strong literacy, numeracy, administration, and communication skills.
8. Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
9. Excellent organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and similar software.
