We are looking for a motivated and driven Recruitment Consultant to join our busy transport desk, specialising in the supply of HGV drivers across the Midlands (East, West & South). This role is ideal for someone who understands the fast-paced nature of transport recruitment and can build strong relationships with both drivers and clients.
Key responsibilities:
1. Recruiting and resourcing HGV Class 1 and Class 2 drivers to meet client demand
2. Managing the full recruitment process from advertising roles through to registration and placement
3. Speaking regularly with drivers to understand availability, preferences, and compliance
4. Building and maintaining strong relationships with transport clients, ensuring their requirements are consistently met
5. Filling bookings efficiently, often at short notice, to keep operations running smoothly
6. Proactively developing new business opportunities within the transport and logistics sector
What we are looking for:
7. Previous recruitment experience is beneficial but not essential
8. Experience working within a fast-paced and target driven sales background is highly desirable
9. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, reactive environment
10. Good organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly around compliance
Due to the location of the office, access to your own transport is essential.
