The successful candidate will have the skills and experience to assess and engage with our service users, ensuring they access the right support throughout their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide unwavering support to service users from their initial contact with our service throughout their treatment and recovery journey.
2. Implement tailored interventions aimed at reducing harm caused by substance use, through group sessions or one-on-one engagement.
3. Ensure service users receive a comprehensive, recovery-focused detoxification plan, including pre-detox preparation and post-care support.
4. Collaborate with other organisations and the community to enhance recovery resources by referring service users to mutual aid groups and networks.
5. Advocate for the involvement of family members, service users, and the community.
6. Serve as a voice for service users in accessing partnership services.
7. Work closely with service users to facilitate social reintegration, promoting recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination.
8. Possess knowledge and experience in delivering interventions for those affected by substance use.
9. Excel in verbal and written communication, with proficient IT skills.
10. Demonstrate proactive qualities, working independently with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
11. Hold a strong understanding of mental health interventions, services, and best practices.
12. Thrive as a supportive team player with exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with diverse professionals and stakeholders.
13. Navigate change effectively, always prioritising service users' needs.
14. Recognise the importance of information governance and adhere to safeguards.
15. Pursue continuous professional development and contribute to team growth.
Location and Conditions:
* Location: Stourbridge
* Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week
* Salary Range: £27,861.26 - £32,002.35 (dependent on experience, pro-rata for part-time)
* Contract: Fixed term until 31st March 2026
