We are recruiting for an experienced sales/customer services professional to join an established and growing business. You would be working within a small office team in Cheltenham, the company manufacture specialist industrial lubrication equipment, and they have an immediate requirement for a driven and motivated salesperson with exceptional customer service skills who can respond efficiently to incoming enquiries and orders and build an excellent rapport with new and existing customers.
Key responsibilities:
* Proactively research and build new customer portfolio
* Establish strong relationships with existing customers & maximise sales
* Detail products and services to potential customers
* Generate and follow up all quotations; keeping database & management reports up to date
* Responding promptly to all customer enquiries; providing product/service information
* Maintaining, logging and updating all customer interaction
* Operating CRM system – processing orders, quotations and booking carriage
* Address and resolve any customer issues regarding products or service
Key skills & attributes:
* Previous experience in an industrial / engineering / sales environment
* Computer literate (Microsoft office) with knowledge of Sage Line 50
* A proven track record of new customer generation (2+ years)
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Highly motivated, customer driven and able to work to strict deadlines/targets
Hours Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 4.30pm, Friday 8.30am -2.00pm
Salary up to £29K depending on experience; + bonuses; 25 days holiday + bank holidays
