Here's to never standing still. Come and join us! The value you'll add: This role is part of the HSBC Innovation Banking Treasury & Trade Solutions team. As a Director, you will lead a sales team, reporting into our Head of Treasury & Trade Solutions. You will be responsible for the sale of commercial banking cash management and payments products, and trade solutions to the Corporate, Fintech and Strategic Funds Banking segments of the Innovation Economy covered by your team. What you can expect to be doing: Develop and manage a team of Treasury & Trade Solutions Sales Managers and Associates. Develop upsell and cross-sell strategies in line with client's needs increasing product penetration and stickiness, with a key focus on retention. Drive growth in deposit balances, cash management fee income and card fee income by building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. Commercialise liquidity investment solutions and provide client platform services which facilitate investments in money market funds. Drive exceptional client and business outcomes through high quality engagement and the continual improvement of processes. Represent the firm at relevant industry events and conferences. Lead a Treasury & Trade Sales team to deliver exceptional engagement across client segments and develop team members to achieve their full potential. Commercialise liquidity investment solutions and provide client platform services which facilitate investments in money market funds. Sit on the Treasury and Trade Solutions Leadership team working on cross-functional team efforts within the group and representing the team the wider-business. Scope of role is captured under the Certification Regime as a client dealing function (bringing about deals in investments) therefore requiring certification and training. This also includes the managing or supervising of a certification employee, directly or indirectly and annually carrying out the F&P assessments and escalate concerns. Requirements: Prior experience in treasury and payments sales within financial institutions, with a focus on growing mid-market and corporate clients. Subject matter expert on banking, treasury & trade products as well as digital channels, including: Liquidity solutions Global banking Payments and card solutions Digital banking integration solutions Global trade solutions Proven origination skills and ability to build and manage a strong pipeline that meets sales targets. Experience responding to banking RFP's. Ability to align solutions to each point in the client's life cycle and challenge initial facts to provide less obvious solutions. Exemplary stakeholder management and people management skills. Strong individual and team coaching/mentoring experience. Sound risk management and understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks including Consumer Duty. Passion for innovation and ecosystem that drives the Innovation Economy.
