As they continue to expand, they are seeking a motivated Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic, multidisciplinary team.
The Role
As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, coordination, and delivery of mechanical systems for cutting-edge data centre projects. Working under the guidance of experienced engineers, you will gain exposure to all project stages from concept and feasibility through detailed design, construction support, and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the design and specification of mechanical systems including cooling, ventilation, piping, and fire protection.
* Support load calculations, equipment selection, and performance modelling.
* Produce technical drawings, schematics, and project documentation.
* Collaborate with electrical, structural, and project management teams to deliver integrated solutions.
* Contribute to sustainability, efficiency, and risk-mitigation strategies.
* Conduct site visits, surveys, and inspections when required.
* Stay informed of industry trends, standards, and innovative technologies in the data centre sector.
About You
* Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
* Strong interest in building services, mechanical systems, and/or mission-critical environments such as data centres.
* Ideally exposure to IES Energy modelling similar (desirable but not essential).
* A proactive mindset with eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced consultancy.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
