Senior Regeneration Lawyer (Commercial)
Hackney is reshaping East London. Over the next five years, we are delivering a pipeline of nationally recognised regeneration schemes that are transforming communities and redefining skylines. We are looking for a Senior Commercial Lawyer to sit at the heart of that work as a true subject matter expert.
The Role
You will be one of two Senior Regeneration Lawyers, carrying a high-level commercial caseload across Hackney's most significant projects. Commercial contracts and procurement are your specialism, and that is where you will spend the vast majority of your time. You will provide oversight to experienced colleagues, but this is principally a practitioner role for someone who wants to do excellent, complex legal work. Your caseload will focus on:
* Negotiating and drafting complex commercial contracts across major regeneration projects
* Advising on the procurement of architects, contractors, and professional consultants
* Ensuring compliant procurement routes for high-value, high-profile schemes

What We Are Looking For
* A qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive
* Deep experience in commercial contracts, construction law, or regeneration
* The technical depth to advise confidently at a senior level on complex, high-value projects
* Someone who wants more scope and more impact than private practice typically allows
