Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant ready to take the next step in your career?
GSL Education are looking for a confident and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support a welcoming primary school in Loughton from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves working with children, enjoys taking initiative, and is confident leading groups or whole classes in the teacher’s absence.
The Role
* Support the class teacher across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
* Deliver planned lessons to whole classes, small groups, and 1:1 when required.
* Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive.
* Provide tailored support for children with additional needs.
* Contribute to planning, preparation, and assessment alongside teachers.
What We’re Looking For
* HLTA qualification or proven classroom experience at HLTA level.
* A good understanding of the primary curriculum.
* Strong behaviour management and excellent communication skills.
* A flexible, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to supporting children.
