Responsibilities Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and food production. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the menu specifications. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes and menu items. Monitor inventory levels, assisting with ordering supplies as needed. Ensure all dishes are presented beautifully and meet the restaurant's standards before serving. Skills Proficient in food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management within a kitchen environment. Excellent understanding of food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
