An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join a leading international FMCGpany on a fixed-term 12 month contract. Working 5 days per week in the office initially, then 2 days working from home, you’ll support the UK finance team with day-to-day accounting operations and month-end reporting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Main DutiesManaging and processing Petty CashForeign PaymentsBooking Currency ContractsManual ChequesUK CHAPS / Other manual paymentsDaily and monthly reconciliation of bank financing facilityReconciliation of Interpany Financing AccountsMonthly bank Reconciliations / revaluationsProcessing of DD invoicesDaily posting of cash entries to a strict timelineMonth end reporting and analysis of bank chargesProcessing of Employee Expenses (Credit Cards)Perform part of the management accounts closeMonth end reportingOther adhoc tasks as required
About You
2. Previous experience in accounts payable or cashiering desirable
3. Studying towards AAT / ACCA / CIMA advantageous
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
5. Good MS Office skills and experience with accounting systems
