Job summary

An opportunity has arisen to recruit a highly motivated and experienced individual to a Team Administrator position working 37.5 hours per week supporting the LD CAMHS team in North End House, Durham. The LD CAMHS team are also based in Acley Centre, Newton Aycliffe therefore some cross cover would be required in this role which may include travelling and working at alternative bases.

You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role. Please note, this role does not meet the required eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa and therefore the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role.

Main duties of the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a conscientious and supportive Team Administrator to join our busy and dedicated team based within LD CAMHS in North End House, Durham.

The Team Administrator role is pivotal in the day to day operations of the multidisciplinary teams. As part of this role, you will work closely with Psychologists, Consultants, Clinicians, Senior Managers and the wider teams to provide the best possible care to the service user.

We are looking for someone who is able to multitask in a busy environment, communicate confidently, prioritise their workload and meet deadlines, build strong working relationships with a variety of people and excellent typing skills.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

1. Level 3 Qualification in relevant field or equivalent experience or willingness to work towards Level 3 in Business Administration.
2. Key skills/functional skills in literacy and numeracy Level 2 OR O Level (Grade C and above/New GCSE in Maths and English (Grade 4 to 9) are an essential requirement to be fully competent in the role. Where an applicant does not have the above qualifications or are unable to provide evidence of the certification, the applicant MUST achieve the required standards during their probationary period.

Desirable

3. Level 3 in Business Administration.
4. RSA Level 2 or equivalent Secretarial/administrative experience in a clinical environment

Experience

Essential

5. Experience of working in an administrative environment (diary management, filing systems, meeting coordination, minute talking, data input, collating and presenting information).
6. Customer Service experience (face to face, answering calls, correspondence)
7. Experience of organising completing demands and workloads.
8. Experience of setting up and maintenance of administrative systems and processes.
9. Experience of working autonomously and proactively

Desirable

10. Experience of supporting/supervising staff
11. Experience of handling monies and working within financial guidelines.

Knowledge

Essential

12. Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
13. Understanding of data protection and the need for confidentiality and how to maintain this.
14. Knowledge of office systems and processes

15. Knowledge of NHS systems
