This role is ideal for an AAT Level 4 professional who is looking for a step up in their career and wanting more exposure to management accounting duties.
Those with experience with Xero and finance administration exposure within in the not for profit/ public sector industry will be highly desirable for this post.

A brand new vacancy has been created for a progressive finance professional to work within the charitable industry. In this role you will be directly working with the Financial Controller managing all company transactions as well as assisting with management accounts and month end duties.
Description
Duties and tasks of the Accounts Assistant:
· Ensure all finance transactions have been processed including sales and purchase invoices
· Managing the company cashflow, bank and balance sheet reconciliations
· Working closely with new suppliers setting them up on the accounting system and approving payment runs
· Identify and monitor income and expenditure and raise invoices as required
· Assist in management of company budgets for forecasts
· Bank and credit card reconciliations
· Producing reports and processing payroll journals
· Assist with maintaining the fixed asset register
Profile
To be successful as the Accounts Assistant you will have:
· AAT Level 4 qualification or qualified by experience to this level with a relevant degree
· Thorough understanding of debits and credits
· Ideally experience in using Xero accounting system
· Proven ability to work independently and operate at a confident level
