Perth Relief Support Practitioner
£13.45 per hour. (Pay award pending – the new rate will be confirmed at interview, subject to formal agreement)

Responsibilities
* Working with colleagues as part of an effective and efficient team to support vulnerable people.
* Communicating and working well with our supported people to provide individual care and maintain appropriate relationships.
* Being responsible in supporting individuals throughout the activities, giving positive feedback and encouragement.
* Updating and maintaining accurate records using a tablet on the Arks Information Management system.
What is Relief?
As a Relief Support Practitioner, you do not have contracted hours. This provides flexibility, allowing you to pick up shifts that suit your availability. Relief work is offered on an as‑and‑when basis to cover sickness absence, study leave, and other staffing needs. We cannot guarantee regular or ongoing work, as the demand for relief staffing may vary over time.

Qualifications
Previous experience is an advantage but not essential as Ark will provide full training. This role may also be referred to as Support Worker, Care Assistant or Care Worker in other organisations.
