We are looking for two personal assistants to split the role and hours. Happy to discuss in more detail.
The role involves supporting an 88‑year‑old male with Dementia. The client is an active, social individual who enjoys the company of others. Duties include personal care, medication management, light meal preparation, and assistance with catheter checks, meals, fluids, and evening routines.
Responsibilities
* Assistance with personal care (shower, shave, brushing teeth, dressing each day)
* Catheter care (emptying catheter)
* Administering medication and eye drops
* Preparing light meals, including breakfast
* Monitoring and supervising activities to ensure safety
* Demonstrating patience and kindness throughout the day
Requirements
This role requires an enhanced check through PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups).
