We are a recruitment agency that work with a large number of schools and academies in the south west, including in Bristol. A number of our schools are seeking to appoint enthusiastic teaching assistants, who have a wealth of UK classroom experience, to join them on a supply basis. In addition to supply work, we can offer full time, permanent work, working school hours, term time only. Duties: - Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities - Provide support to students with special needs, including working with individuals on the autism spectrum - Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students - Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies - Collaborate with the lead teacher and other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the classroom - Provide individualized attention and support to students as needed - Assist with daily tasks such as preparing materials, setting up learning centres, and maintaining a clean and organized classroom Requirements: - Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting - Knowledge of special education practices and strategies - Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues - Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help children learn and grow - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team - Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of individual students - A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care Working with Long Term Teachers: We are an independent agency working with Nurseries, Primary, Secondary and Special Schools.
