SEN Teaching Assistant Location: West Midlands, Birmingham, West Midlands Job Type: Temporary position with Full-Time hours Salary: £77 - £85 Per day Job Duties: Provide support and assistance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Work closely with teachers to implement individual education plans for students Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment Support students with personal care and mobility needs Monitor and track student progress and behaviour Required Qualifications: Experience working with children with SEN Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions Strong communication and interpersonal skills Education: Minimum of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Experience: Prior experience in a similar role is desirable Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework Ability to work effectively as part of a team Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN Preferred Qualifications: Additional training in SEN support First Aid certification Working Conditions: Work primarily in a classroom setting May require occasional physical assistance for students Adherence to school policies and procedures All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
