Job Title: Deputy Manager – Children’s Residential Home
Location: Abergavenny, Monmouthshire
Salary: Up to £42,906 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Deputy Manager to join a leading specialist provider in the children’s residential care sector. Based in Abergavenny, the Deputy Manager will play a vital role in supporting the leadership of a well‑established children’s residential home. Key Responsibilities
* Support the Registered Manager in the daily operations of the children’s residential home
* Lead, supervise, and develop a team of Residential Support Workers
* Ensure compliance with CIW regulations and maintain high standards of care
* Promote positive outcomes for children and young people
* Assist with care planning, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures
* Step into the manager’s role in their absence, ensuring smooth running of the home
Requirements
* Experience working in a children’s residential home setting
* Previous experience as a Senior Residential Support Worker or Deputy Manager
* Level 3 Health and Social Care CYP Qualification
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (desirable or willingness to work towards)
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Full UK Driving Licence
