We have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Social Worker to join our Safeguarding and Quality Assurance Team for Adults Care and Support. As a Consultant Social Worker, you’ll deliver excellent services to Care Act eligible Adults with the purpose of safeguarding and promoting their welfare. What you will do:
* Act as a senior specialist member of the social work team, providing top-tier services to Care Act eligible Adults.
* Discharge responsibilities under the Care Act 2014, promoting independence, well-being, and community inclusion for residents.
* Provide supervision, support, and mentorship to newly qualified social workers and students as a lead practice educator.
* Undertake complex social work duties, including assessments, complex case work, and safeguarding procedures in collaboration with statutory agencies.
* Engage in the full scope of quality assurance processes to improve service delivery and practices.
* Guide and support staff to deliver a strengths-based approach, empowering and engaging residents within their social networks.
* Chair and contribute to multi-agency meetings, ensuring effective delivery of support plans and adherence to national standards.
