Facilities Manager – East Sussex (Permanent)
Location: Brighton, East Sussex
Salary: Up to £55,000 + Car + Bonus + Package

Working Pattern: 5 days onsite
We are working with a leading service provider who has a global financial services client to recruit an experienced Facilities Manager to take ownership of a high-profile corporate site in Brighton.
This is a senior, client-facing role requiring strong leadership across both Hard and Soft FM, with responsibility for service delivery, compliance, and team performance within a premium workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Workplace Experience
Lead and motivate the on-site facilities team, driving a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement. Embed and adapt workplace programmes to local site requirements while maintaining corporate standards. Manage performance, training, development, and recruitment of site staff. Use performance data and feedback to improve engagement and service delivery.
Operational Management & Compliance
Manage day-to-day building operations, maintenance, and minor projects. Develop and oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes. Ensure full compliance with H&S, statutory regulations, and company policies. Manage contractors and suppliers, ensuring service quality and value for money. Carry out regular site inspections and quality audits.
Financial & Commercial Management
Control operational budgets and identify cost efficiencies.. Manage procurement and contract performance for all FM services. Produce reports and performance data for senior stakeholders.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Act as the main point of contact for all workplace and facilities matters. Resolve issues efficiently to ensure a smooth and professional workplace experience. Build strong relationships with local client leadership and internal stakeholders.
Candidate Profile:

You will have:
* Proven experience managing large commercial sites.
* IOSH or NEBOSH
* Strong knowledge of Hard & Soft FM services.
* Solid understanding of compliance, H&S, and building services (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
* Experience managing teams and service partners.
* Strong budget and contractor management skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability.
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
Desirable:
* FM qualification (CFM, FMP or similar).
* Engineering qualifications (City & Guilds - Mechanical or Electrical)
* Degree or equivalent experience.
