Packing Operative Sector: Food Manufacturing Location: Near Bury St Edmunds Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £28,000 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday | 6am > 2pm iSQ Recruitment is supporting a fast-paced food manufacturer near Bury St Edmunds with their search for a Packing Operative. You will be working as part of a small team alongside one other Packer, so reliability, communication and teamwork are important. This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse or production experience who is looking for a secure, full time, and varied position. A valid counterbalance forklift license is essential. Please Note This role does not offer visa sponsorship. Candidates must have full Right to Work in the UK. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is required due to the location. Why Join? Loading lorries using a counterbalance forklift. Carrying out quality checks to ensure product standards are met. Completing food safety checks and production paperwork. Performing magnet and metal detector checks. Conducting tool checks. Shrink wrapping finished products ready for dispatch. Supporting with general mill duties and cleaning during quieter periods. Essential Criteria Valid counterbalance forklift licence. Full UK driving license & own transport. Good level of English (written and verbal). Strong attention to detail.
