Job Description Growing FMCG Manufacturer now recruiting PERMANENT ROLE- SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER Purpose: To lead the production planning team responsible for supplying an optimised production plan, balancing operational efficiency with customer demand, at the right cost. To review and manage short, medium and long-term production capacities whilst working with internal stakeholder to overcome bottle necks and continually improve processes and activities within the supply chain and production operations. Key Responsibilities: Lead the Planning team, providing support throughout and coordinating the implementation of new processes. Act as the main point of contact for customers relating to supply chain matters. Monitor supply chain performance and implement improvements taking into account sustainable supply chain practices. Work in partnership with the Despatch team to ensure robust logistics management, whilst optimising the entire supply chain process Liaise with the Commercial team to determine customer requirements ensuring that all volume peaks and troughs are planned accordingly, whilst preparing mid-range demand plans and requirements. Leads a culture of continuous improvement across the wider supply chain and operations team CANDIDATE Proven management and leadership experience within an FMCG Supply Chain environment Good Understanding of Excel with previous experience of working with ERP and planning systems Aptitude for problem solving Effective communicator both verbal & written. Ability to adapt to an ever-changing business environment. Ability to influence & motivate others. Attention to Detail. Excellent Organisational Skills Ability to work under pressure.
