Learning Support Assistant (SEND) – Walsall Location: Walsall (WS1–WS10) Type: Full-Time / Long-Term / Flexible Salary: £88–£95 per day (depending on experience and/or qualifications) Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing The Role ABC Teachers are looking for caring, patient, and motivated Learning Support Assistants (SEND) to work across a range of specialist and mainstream schools in Walsall. As a Learning Support Assistant (SEND), you will provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with Autism (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and SEMH needs, helping them access learning, develop communication skills, and build independence in a structured and nurturing environment. You will work closely with teachers and the wider support team to implement individual learning plans, behaviour strategies, and personalised interventions that make a real difference to each child’s development. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in SEND, care work, youth support, or education, or for those looking to start a career in specialist education.
