Road Freight Coordinator | Manchester | Up to £37,000 per annum
I currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Road Freight Operator with strong knowledge of European road transport, imports and exports and customs procedures to join a fast-paced, client-focused logistics company based in Trafford Park, Manchester.

Shifts: Monday to Friday - 08:00-17:00
Salary: Up to £37,000
Day to day:
Providing accurate and competitive quotations for European road freight movements, covering both import and export operations.
Managing UK and European road freight bookings, ensuring all export documentation and customs requirements are fully compliant.
Overseeing UK import road freight pricing requests, bookings, and related operational queries.
Liaising with customers regarding collection and delivery schedules, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the shipment process.
Monitoring and managing shipments from collection through to delivery, proactively identifying and resolving any issues or delays.
Working closely with Europe-based teams to coordinate timely EU collections and UK deliveries, including support for UK cross-docking requirements.
Preparing and responding to quotation requests promptly and accurately.
Producing accurate invoices and issuing them to clients via the internal system.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships, delivering service excellence and supporting repeat business.
Requirements
Proven European road freight experience with a UK based forwarder
Right to work in the UK (No sponsorship is on offer)
Export and Import experience
Customs awareness and understanding of current export procedures
Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving approach
The ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment
