We are seeking passionate Kitchen Assistants for a full-time role (30 hours per week, including weekends) at Hayes Garden Centre, Lake Rd, Ambleside LA22 0DW, UK. This hands-on position requires proactive, motivated, organized individuals with good communication skills, able to work in a fast-paced team environment. Knowledge of till systems is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
Key responsibilities include:
1. General kitchen duties
2. Cleaning and clearing tables
3. Pot washing
4. Serving customers
5. Basic food preparation
6. Maintaining cleanliness standards
7. Adhering to company policies
8. Assisting in preparing salads and desserts
Skills required:
* Excellent customer service skills
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Good communication skills
* Professional and reliable
* Ability to remain calm under pressure
* Flexibility with days and hours to meet business needs
