Financial Controller - Morayshire, UK Our Client is looking for a full time Financial Controller to join their Team. The role will be based in Morayshire and travel will be required so car driver is essential for this post, along with the willingness to travel to various office locations. Please note only candidates who live in and around Morayshire will be responded to. Job Responsibilities: Oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Experience of dealing with Associate Companies as part of the monthly accounts preparations. Prepare and present accurate financial reports to senior management and stakeholders. Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning. Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures. Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Analyse financial performance and provide insights to drive business decisions. Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process. Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll and accounts payable/receivable. Monitor cash flow and manage working capital effectively. Required Skills & Qualifications: Professional qualification in accounting (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent). Proven experience in a financial management role, preferably as a Financial Controller. Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
