Driver Hire Gatwick is currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join one of our well established clients in Crawley. This is a full-time job and can be a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate. In this role you will be delivering palletised freight across the South East of England for a well known and reputable logistics company.
The Role
1. Delivering palletised freight across the South of England
2. You will be driving a curtainsider class 2 vehicle
3. Start times between 07:00-08:00 AM
4. Between 7-15 drops depending on distance
5. Conducting daily vehicle checks in line with Health & Safety requirements
6. Ensuring compliance with driver hours and road safety regulations
7. Safe loading and unloading of goods
About You
8. Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
9. CPC and Digital Tachograph card
10. Pallets experience needed
11. No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements: CD/IN/DR/TT)
12. Able to operate vehicles safely and responsibly
13. Comfortable ensuring loads are secure at all times
14. PPE required: Hi-Vis and Safety Boots
15. Own transport required to commute to and from the depot
16. Must comply with all on-site health and safety procedures
