Job Description
Medical Affairs compliance professional for the UK Medical Code Governance team. The role is pivotal to the implementation of the ABPI compliance framework at Johnson & Johnson, working cross‑functionally to maintain high ethical standards.
Responsibilities
* Design, implement and maintain the UK medical governance framework in relation to the ABPI Code of Practice.
* Act as an ABPI signatory for J&J, reviewing and certifying material.
* Review and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidance documents to reflect regulatory and business changes.
* Develop and deliver compliance training, briefings and guidance for cross‑functional teams and activity owners.
* Lead monitoring and oversight activities to identify compliance risks; establish metrics, track performance and drive timely remediation.
* Provide pragmatic, authoritative advice on Code interpretation for projects, promotional materials, partnerships and new initiatives.
* Act as the primary compliance contact for business partners offering clear, proportionate recommendations that enable compliant decision making.
* Manage risk assessment and coordinate investigations and corrective actions as required.
* Maintain accurate records, prepare management reports and support regulatory interactions or inspections.
Qualifications
* Experience working with the ABPI Code of Practice and able to register as an ABPI signatory in the UK (medical doctor or UK pharmacist).
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, experienced in updating SOPs and creating training materials.
* Experience training or presenting to a large audience.
* High attention to detail, with a dedication to excellence and continuous improvement.

Location
High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom. Starting mid‑2026, offices in Wokingham and High Wycombe will move to a modern office in central Maidenhead, conveniently situated next to the train station.
