Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Supported Living Support Worker to join a leading care provider in Wantage, supporting individuals with learning disabilities. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives, providing personal care, eating and drinking support, household tasks, and engaging in fun and fulfilling activities. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring that individuals have varied and exciting experiences, from music and cinema trips to days out and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
As a Supported Living Support Worker, your key responsibilities will include providing high-quality support to individuals with learning disabilities, assisting with personal care, eating and drinking, and household tasks, as well as planning and engaging in fun and fulfilling activities. You will be required to work flexibly, including sleep-ins, and be reliable and professional in your approach.
Required Skills & Experience
Although no prior experience is necessary, as full training is provided, ideally, you will have a background in care or working with people with specific additional requirements. However, we are more interested in hearing from people who are passionate about making a difference in people’s lives. You will need a positive, can-do, and professional attitude, be reliable and flexible, and able to do sleepovers. A valid UK Driving Licence is also required.
