The Technician supports the day-to-day technical operation on site by providing reactive and proactive support to the automation on the Weetabix site. They work as part of a resident maintenance team, supporting continuous improvement activities that underpin site performance and ensuring compliance with TGW Health and Safety standards when conducting their duties.
You'll be joining a maintenance team of 7 working a continental shift pattern:
4 on 2 off - 3 on 2 off - 3 on 2 off - 4 on then 8 days off. This is Days and Nights, 12 hour shifts

What you'll be handling:
* Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks
* Resolve breakdown situations (corrective maintenance) - with support on more technical elements
* Ensure high levels of housekeeping, and never compromise on safety first
* Support the automation to operate at its maximum efficiency
* Complete all necessary reports, including those for shift maintenance tasks, spare parts usage, and toploss, while working in DART and CMMS software platforms
* Continually improve the performance of the equipment through avenues such as toploss activities and design modifications
* Actively seek root cause when remedying any breakdowns on TGW supplied equipment and software
* Supporting flow control activities
What you'll need:
* Level 2 Engineering Qualification
* General knowledge of mechanics or electrical or control systems
* Ability to work at height
* Available to work flexible shift patterns
