Our Children in Care team in Gloucester is looking for a committed and experienced Social Worker to join us as a Permanency Social Worker. This is a rewarding opportunity to be part of a supportive and dedicated team focused on achieving the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
About the Role
You will be responsible for driving forward permanency planning for children in care, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to feel safe, secure, and supported in a long-term placement that meets their needs. You will work directly with children, families, carers, and adopters, and your work will play a vital role in helping young people reach their full potential.

What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England Proven experience in working with children in care Skilled in completing Child Permanence Reports (CPRs), ideally with experience of working under supervision A strong understanding of family finding and matching with adopters Ability to prepare and present Court reports and support plans A reflective and child-centred practitioner with the resilience and determination to advocate for long-term outcomes
