Job Title: Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer
Location: Tamworth, West Midlands
Salary/Benefits: £25k – £37k + Training & Benefits
Our client is a well-established Hygiene / Legionella outfit, who are growing their coverage within the Midlands. They are seeking a Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer who can undertake ACOP L8 monitoring and remedial duties across a variation of client sites. This role would suit a candidate who has a robust skillset and ability to adapt to changing client requirements. Experience / Qualifications
* Must have worked within a Water Hygiene / Legionella outfit as a Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer
* It is preferred that candidates will hold the NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing
* Working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
* Ideally you will hold City & Guilds backed training
* Able to work across a range of client sites
* Good literacy and IT skills
The Role
* Showerhead descales
* CWST inspections, cleans and disinfections
* Water sampling
* Temperature monitoring
* TMV servicing and installations
* Pipework modifications and adjustments
* Deadleg removals
* Basic flushing on little used outlets
* Completing regular service reports
* Adhering to agreed deadlines
