About the Role
Location: Coventry
1. Salary £40,819.00 per annum
2. Working 45 hours per week
3. Shift pattern: Monday - Friday
4. Start times: 05:00 am
5. HGV Driving experience essential
6. National CPC would be beneficial but not essential
7. Role will require some Driving as well as some office based work
About the role
What will I be doing?
8. Managing and investigating vehicle / personal incidents and any road traffic accidents.
9. Investigating and resolving near miss / hazard reports.
10. Weekly vehicle inspections / gate checks.
11. Responsible for ensuring the downloading of VU and Drivers’ tacho cards and reviewing infringement reports with Drivers.
12. Responsible for driver inductions and training, as well as delivering toolbox talks.
13. Complete yearly driving and pre-employment driving assessments.
14. Occasional cover for Driver sickness / absence as required (LGV licence is therefore essential).
What are the requirements?
15. It is essential to have an LGV (CAT C) Licence and Driver CPC Card.
16. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
17. Valid First Aid Certificate (training can be provided for the successful candidate).
18. IOSH qualification (training can be provided for the successful candidate).
