Hitchin, supporting essential rail maintenance and planning operations.
This is a great opportunity to gain experience within a major Rail infrastructure organisation, with the chance to support key projects and learn from an experienced team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide general administrative support to the team, including data entry, filing, and document control
Assist with updating internal systems and databases accurately
Help prepare reports, spreadsheets, and work packs for planning and maintenance teams
Liaise with internal departments and contractors to coordinate documentation
Support compliance with health & safety and operational procedures
Requirements:
Previous admin experience in an office-based role
Strong attention to detail and confident using Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
Experience in rail, construction, or engineering sectors is a bonus but not essential
This is a full-time, office-based role
with an immediate start available. Ideal for someone looking to grow their admin experience in a supportive, structured environment.
