We are seeking a skilled Band 7 Psychological Therapist to join a private hospital in Southampton, Hampshire. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start on a short-term contract.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide specialist psychological therapy to individuals with eating disorders and complex mental health needs
* Deliver evidence-based interventions including CBT, DBT, ACT, and MANTRA
* Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and effective care
* Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation
Qualifications & Experience
* Relevant professional registration (e.g. HCPC, BABCP, or equivalent)
* Experience working in private or inpatient settings with eating disorders and mental health presentations
* Proficiency in delivering CBT, DBT, ACT, and MANTRA therapies
* Strong assessment, formulation, and therapeutic skills
* Previous experience in a Band 7 Psychological Therapist role
