The post holder will play a pivotal role in orchestrating and managing supply chain projects from conception to execution. The primary responsibility will be to plan, and coordinate all aspects of supply chain initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and goals. Responsibilities Project Planning: Collaborate with Head of Supply Chain Projects and business and programmes stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plans outlining timelines, milestones, resources, and budgets required for successful project execution. Supply Chain Optimisation: Analyse existing supply chain processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and finance to ensure seamless coordination and communication throughout project lifecycles. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions in the supply chain, ensuring continuity of operations. Performance Monitoring: Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and generate reports to assess project performance against set benchmarks. Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices, methodologies, and technologies to optimize supply chain operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Vendor Relationship Management: Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to optimize relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to quality and delivery standards. Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies while maintaining ethical standards in all supply chain activities. Present project status at regular intervals to leadership and business. Take remedial / corrective action when necessary and escalate when appropriate. Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Six Sigma, ERP systems, MS Project). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
