An exciting opportunity has arisen within Stirling Council at Borestone Primary School, Stirling for a permanent janitor.
The post will involve providing 16.5 hours janitorial service per week on a term-time (41 weeks per annum), part-timebasis in support of the school community.
Working hours for the post will be Monday to Wednesday 07:30am-09:30am then a split resuming work at 11:30am - 15:30pm (including a 30 minutes unpaid break) paid at Stirling Council Grade 4.
Personal protective equipment will be provided and training where necessary.
Applicants will require be physically fit, as porterage and other heavy lifting forms a large part of the role, and be prepared at times to work outdoors in inclement weather.
Occasional overtime working at evenings to cover school lets may be available on a voluntary overtime basis.
Applicants will also require a basic working knowledge of IT and be willing to undertake training to allow them to utilise Stirling Council online training and human resources IT applications.
