Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic clinician to join our Gynaecology Theatres as a band 6 Clinical Leader. The role is based at Poole Hospital with cross-site working at Bournemouth Hospital as required. The Clinical Leader will lead a multidisciplinary team, set standards, and promote the best level of care within theatre settings. This position will also coordinate the department during the transformation of Emergency and Elective services expected in 2026/2027.
Responsibilities
* Lead and support a united team, setting standards and promoting high-quality care.
* Manage and support the team across Poole and Bournemouth sites.
* Coordinate the department during the transformation of Emergency and Elective services (2026/2027).
* Report directly to the senior clinical lead, deputise in their absence, and act as a role model to the wider multidisciplinary team.
* Set excellent standards within the theatre setting and ensure compliance with relevant policies.
